The Rosary

Jesus and Mary were attending a friend’s wedding at Cana when Mary noticed the wine was running out. To save embarrassment for their host, Mary asked Jesus if he would sort out the problem. Jesus answered his mother’s request and turned water into wine.

Sons whenever possible, always do what their mum’s ask them to do.

Jesus always grants His mother’s wishes. When in need we should always ask for Mary’s help. The most effective way of doing this is to pray the Rosary.

On 11th February 1858 Our Lady first appeared to Bernadette. Our Lady had Rosary beads on her right arm and invited Bernadette to pray the Rosary with her. Our Lady remained silent passing the Rosary beads through her fingers but recited with Bernadette the Gloria.

On 13th May 1917, Our Lady appeared at Fatima to Lucia. Our Lady urged Lucia to pray the Rosary each day, to obtain peace for the world, and the end of the war. WW1 ended on 11th November 1917.

We know:

• The Rosary is the most powerful weapon we possess.

• The Rosary can fight all kinds of injustice, inequality, and pure evil.

If you are in a hurry to have a prayer answered, reach for your rosary beads. Our Lady always answers our prayers, sometimes not in the way we thought she would but better than we could imagine.

If you don’t know the power of the Rosary, try it. You will make Our Lady smile.

New Bronze Sculpture in St. Peter’s Square Invites the World to Sit Beside the Stranger (Thu, 17 Apr 2025)
The figure depicted is a weary traveler—hooded, hunched, staff in hand, belongings packed in a weathered bag. It might be easy to mistake him for one of Rome’s countless homeless, often overlooked by pilgrims rushing toward the Basilica. But this figure holds a secret.
